In our preschool room, your child is developing independence and their early academics!

Your child is developing muscle control, balance, and fine motor skills, which allows them to do daily activities like cutting with scissors, using utensils, and drawing with precision. 

 

Curriculum in this classroom will incorporate recognizing letters, numbers, and shapes, counting with accuracy, understanding cause and effect, expressing emotions verbally, and engaging in creative activities like music, dance, and art to support their learning and development.

daily routines

Routines allow your little one to establish trust, create bonds with caregivers, and feel safe. This allows their developing brain to be ready to learn new skills and engage in experiences that increase their knowledge base. It also enables them to begin to act with autonomy and develop independence.

  • Basic care tasks – These are learning opportunities too! (Language, motor skills, cause and effect, communication, and so much more.)

  • ​Themed play group

  • Learning activity or project

  • Learning centers

  • Gentle music at naptime

  • Story sessions

  • Outdoor play (weather permitting) or indoor gym
